Home Improvement

The process of church planting is often compared to the human birth process. The conception stage of a church plant is when values, mission, and other important things are established. To move into the next stage, prenatal, one key is for the church planter to be in the area of the new church plant.

Move That Bank!

While Jesus was here on earth, a habit we see in the Gospels was for Him to pray anywhere and anytime. Before He ascended to Heaven, He shared His life of prayer as He taught about prayer, modeled prayer, and prayed with others.

This week, a focus on prayer and one major request for prayer from Landon you.

We Sold Our House

Your involvement in prayer for this new church is invaluable. With the many exciting things that are happening also comes challenges. If we had to face these on our own, I'm not sure how we would make it. The First Plant Team Meeting

Last week saw a lot of movement, excitement, and ways forward for Restore Church. We are continuing to get closer in the legal process for the church. We continue to have conversations with people who are willing to volunteer with Restore or want to support it in various ways. And, we are continuing to get closer to moving into our new home in Goffstown.

Some Good Gifts

The Clouse House is beginning to have stacks of boxes in every corner as we keep looking forward to our closing date of March 10. God answered prayer in regards to the issue with the front steps that we mentioned in last weeks update. We were able to get a contractor to submit an estimate to the underwriter for the repair and we are back on track to close!

Snow, Snow, and More Snow

I requested prayer last week for continued outreach to our neighbors here in Milford. Getting pummeled by snow on Thursday (and as I sit and watch an additional8-14 inches fall), most everyone stays inside except to the shovel their driveway. During snow clean up I talked with Betty as we rested on our shovels, and I shared with her why she needs Jesus and invited her to church.

All Aboard!

A letter from Sarah: Starting a church seemed like a very far out there idea. Something vague, distant and not at all appealing. As it approaches closer to my doorstep however, my idea has changed. The idea has been growing in Landon’s mind for years. I’d casually shrug it off by saying “Maybe one day?” Recently however, as Landon and I have prayed about the possibility of starting a church, our hearts have become united to move in that direction.
